Sanders Equipment LLC represents Insight Automation throughout the Southwest, specifically in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas. Insight Automation has been in existence for over five (5) years. The business plan at the formation of the company was to develop control products that are specifically targeted at the data acquisition, material and movement for the material handling industry; and, to utilize those products for integration of control systems on material handling projects. Those targets have been successfully accomplished. In order to successfully complete those goals, it was necessary to procure the best engineering team possible. Those individuals make up the core engineering staff at Insight Automation today. With team members possessing both military and commercial backgrounds, Insight Automation has become the value leader in material handling system control design and implementation.

Projects successfully completed under the Insight Automation banner for commercial clients include Fortune 500 corporations such as Starbucks, Tommy Hilfiger, Georgia Pacific, Michaels Arts & Crafts, Frito-Lay, Lexmark International, Kellogg’s, General Mills, Nestle Corp., and Respironics. Insight Automation has implemented significant programs for these and other clients. The technical challenges to these projects have included real time controls in high speed sortation, order picking and fulfillment, manufacturing process systems, distribution systems, data acquisition systems and heavy duty lift controls.

Another business facet of Insight Automation is US Government contracts. Insight Automation has relied on extensive professional training programs and previous experiences to successfully execute programs with the USAF at Tinker AFB and Northrup-Grumman Corporation for the US Postal Service. Insight Automation’s engineering staff has had many previous experiences in dealing with government contracts.

Insight Automation’s engineering staff has extensive background in sophisticated controls systems for machinery and automation. Control systems programming and applications proficiencies include Allen-Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, Groupe Schneider PLC, Omron PLC and a variety of other systems. Insight engineers are knowledgeable in network designs and serial communications for Ethernet, Data-Highway, ProfiBus, Device-Net, CANopen, Interbus-S, Control-Net and numerous other systems utilizing ladder, statement logic and IEC6-1131 programming languages.

Experience and knowledge in may servo and variable frequency drive systems. Insight Automation controls engineers have motion control systems experience for high speed vehicle movements, transfer mechanisms, lifts, robotic pick & place devices, and Automated Storage & Retrieval machines.

Members of the Insight Automation team have extensive knowledge in micro-processor controls programming utilizing various high-level languages. These languages are used to integrate windows based PC systems into the material handling environment. Typical systems require high speed communications networks to Warehouse Management Inventory Control Systems, and data acquisition systems such as barcode readers, and RFID systems. These systems also require extensive database management routines and diagnostics routines to assist in troubleshooting and maintenance. Controls backgrounds in microprocessor based controls systems for database management activities include programming in Visual Basic, C++, Windows and MicroSoft.NET platforms.
